Ayurveda is divided into eight branches from which one of them is Ayurvedic Psychology also termed as Graha chikitsa or Bhuta Vidya.

Ayurvedic Psychology deals with mental imbalance and the remedies to treat them with holistic methods. Through this the patients could return to their actual state of mental equilibrium.

It reveals the secret powers of body, mind and soul.


Sree Narayana Guru

Sree Narayana Guru, a realized master, one of the greatest philosopher-poet-saints and social reformer of Kerala, was born, at Chempazhanti, in August 1855. The principles followed by the great social reformer Sree Narayana Guru is a dialectical integration of the principles followed by Jesus Christ, Muhammad Nabi and Sree Sankaracharya. Sree Narayana Guru has done the highest service to the mankind and he never insisted to follow a single path to attain the goal of self realization. Guru valiantly and peacefully changed the society and believed that only through education people could imbibe the right perspective about life. He was a great Ayurvedic physician, spiritual psychologist and yogi. Our name of the institution is an attempt to give the spark generated by Sree Narayana Guru to the new generation to lead a healthy and peaceful life. Ayuryoga Gurukulam is dedicated do research and seminars on guru’s philosophy and to offer the essence of ayurveda and yoga to the world. Ten percentages of the profits of AyurYoga Gurukulam goes towards Sivagiri Mutt and its charity works.
